The PG course was started by the college in the academinc year 2001-2002.

AFFILIATION

AICTE, New Delhi has accorded approval to start the MCA course with an intake of 60 students. The JNT University vide letter FNo. AP-077/ET-MCA/2000 dated Sept 24, 2001, accorded affiliation for the course. Since 2007 the intake is 120 students.

SELECTION CRITERIA

The 3-year Master’s Program in Computer Applications is the flagship Post-Graduate Program of the College. Admission into the program is on the basis of a competitive examination, ICET, being conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, India, and as per the affiliating university norms

OBJECTIVES

Primary objective of this program is to train top class IT professionals so as to cater for the growing needs of various disciplines of Information Technology. The other objectives of the program are:

• To enable participants appreciate inter- relationships in Computer Applications, concepts, techniques, tools and procedures.
• To prepare the participants for professional career in Computer Applications.
• To help the participants develop analytical skills.
• To promote in the participants a scientific approach and capability to undertake managerial responsibility in Computer Applications Business.
