The Department of Information Technology was established in the year 1999 with an intake of 40 students which was later increased to 60 in the year 2000 and has doubled to 120 in the year 2006. The first batch of students left with flying colours and made their own mark in the corporate world. Information Technology is a fast growing discipline and is full of rigorous practical analysis.

Ths department has well equipped laboratories and logical reasoning is stressed in all practical applications. With highly talented faculty, the department boasts of a unique mode of learning, one that uses advanced aids for teaching.
